Award Nominating

High Ideals is committed to celebrating High Idealism anywhere and everywhere it is found and with this task, we need your assistance.

You are invited to nominate individuals, groups, businesses and organisations that represent High Idealism in Action across any one or combination of our five portfolio areas:

• Individual (either through their personal or professional lives/behaviours/impact)
• Business (any size/type)
• Caring Causes
• Environment
• Youth (can be a young person or anyone/group who supports young people)

The nomination process is quite simple!

Just email us at info@high-ideals.com and provide the following information:

• Your name and contact details
• The name of the individual, group, business or organisation you’re nominating (and yes, you can nominate yourself!)
• Contact details for the nomination recipient (we have to be able to contact them to advise them of the nomination…so this is really important)
• And provide your statement about how the nomination recipient demonstrates High Idealism in each of the core areas:
  • Integrity
  • Positivity
  • Impact
• It’s vital that you provide as detailed examples/evidence as possible which really focuses on specific behaviour and the outcomes/impact of that behaviour which you feel truly represents the spirit and reality of High Idealism in Action.
• You can attach any supporting documentation or links to the email you send us. The more information we have, the more valuable the nomination will be to us and the recipient because it shows that their behaviours really have been noticed (role modelling) and are being celebrated.

What we do next:

• Our Board of Directors reviews all nominations.
• Where we feel there is adequate evidence and information in the nomination to really demonstrate High Idealism in Action, the Board selects award recipients by a majority vote.
• We then contact the nominated party and advise them that a High Ideals Recognition Award is being offered to them. We believe it is important to respect individuals and groups’ wishes about whether they receive an award like this or not.
• Along with the High Ideals Recognition Award offer, we also invite the recipient to become a member of High Ideals if they are not already. Membership to High Ideals is NOT required to receive the Award. But we do recognise that some recipients may feel a strong personal and/or professional connection with what High Ideals represents and will want to become members and possibly even contribute to the vision and mission of the organisation in a wide variety of ways, including potentially becoming a High Ideals Ambassador. We may offer to waive the assessment fee and/or membership fee in some situations, generally considered on a case-by-case basis and established through conversation with the Award recipient.
• Upon acceptance of the award, we will publish the names of the recipients on our website. If they are also High Ideals members, we will include the link to their profile. If they’re not members, we might publish their website address if appropriate and given permission to do so. We will also highlight their achievement in our monthly High Ideals News so that all of our members can celebrate the achievements of the Award recipients, and also to potentially be inspired to do additional, enhanced or greater acts of high idealism themselves.
